FIT4TC uses Teamcenter® Engineering or Teamcenter® Manufacturing as the data management tool for revision control of Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programs. FIT4TC Direct Numerical Control (DNC) module uses a different technology not found on the market at this time. All other DNC systems are personal computer (PC) and operating systems (OS) dependant. FIT4TC is JAVA based making it non-OS and hardware independent.Another unique feature of FIT4TC is it uses network technology instead of serial technology to communicate with the machine tools. This eliminates the hardware dependencies of present serial cards used on conventional DNC systems.
